Independant Order of Odd Fellows

On Tuesday, July 5, 2005 California Lodge No.1 of San Francisco invited the Juniors and Theta Rho's to visit their lodge and attend an open meeting. In attendance were members from Kingsman #96, Stockton #2, Sigma Thau #92 and Florin #68. It was a large meeting, with over 60 people in attendance, including over 25 Juniors and their advisors.

During the Good of the Order, a member from each group got up and spoke to the membership about what they do, activities and charities they participate in and what the Juniors mean to them. Mary C., President of the Theta Rho Assembly and Roby H., Grand Ruler, Grand Junior Lodge took the opportunity to speak about each of their organizations, and urged the membership to continue to support their activities, and reminded us they are our future!      

At the conclusion of the meeting California #1 Lodge was pleased to present a check for $150.00 to each of the groups in attendance. California #1 hopes to continue to forge the bonds between the lodges and looks forward to its next visit from the Theta Rhos and Juniors.
